Kubota UK strengthens customer support with two new additions into its Kubota Engine Service Network (KESN).
Pitcairn Engineering Limited, located in Bonnybridge, between Falkirk and Cumbernauld, Scotland and Stubbings Bros Limited located in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight.
Committed to local expert customer support, reduction in machine downtime within an ever-increasing population of in-service Kubota powered OEM (original equipment manufacturer) machinery at the workplace is the goal of these latest appointments.
The added customer support provided by both Pitcairn Engineering Ltd and Stubbings Bros Ltd comes at a crucial time for customers who face rising financial burdens and strive for greater efficiency in reducing lost operating hours, lowering service costs, and maximizing machines’ uptime and productivity.
Strength of service across Scotland
Pitcairn Engineering Limited joins the Kubota Engine Service Network (KESN) with an extensive on-highway and off-highway Diesel Engine and industrial experience by providing both Workshop repairs, engine rebuilding, and mobile service technician support throughout Scotland.
Following a review of its regional service structure, Kubota UK addressed the market call to further strengthen its local ability in Engine diagnostics and field service capacity across the region.
With Pitcairn Engineering Limited providing mobile field-service support, customers will now benefit from the new service levels available across Scotland by keeping machines operational for longer and greater flexibility in scheduled maintenance.
One-Stop Solution on the Isle of Wight
For the Isle of Wight, Kubota has appointed long serving Kubota Grounds care, Construction and Agriculture dealer, Stubbings Bros Ltd to the Kubota Engine Service Network. This new appointment provides a perfect local solution for all customers to access highly trained and experienced technicians providing greater responsiveness, reducing cost and disruption associated with machine downtime and a true single point of contact on the island.
Dave Stubbings of Stubbings Bros comments.
“Having represented Kubota on the Island since 2006, we are thrilled to be appointed as official Engine Service Dealers for the region and surrounding counties. This expansion allows us to deliver direct field and service support to all machinery users powered by Kubota engines, saving valuable travel time to the mainland.
The Kubota brand is globally trusted and respected, and we are incredibly proud to offer their complete lineup—spanning Agriculture, Construction, Ground care, and now Engines.
Martin Tyler, Service Training Manager at Kubota UK Limited, explains.
“This is a crucial development which offers a host of advantages for our UK OEMs and operators which use Kubota engines and transforms and enhances the aftersales experience which we can offer.”
“Our emphasis is on ensuring that we take care of our customers throughout the entire life cycle of their engine and this network expansion increases the operational uptime of their engines.”
“The appointments of Pitcairn Engineering Limited and Stubbings Bros Ltd represent a further investment in Kubota Engines’ UK aftersales network, bringing specialist support closer to customers and helping ensure engines and the equipment they power remain productive and operational.”
