Based in Barefield, County Clare, Whelan Plant Sales specialises in the supply of Kubota machinery to operators across the Republic of Ireland. In recognition of the business’s considerable contribution to the Irish plant hire industry, Whelan’s founder and owner, George Whelan Snr, was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Machinery Movers annual Christmas dinner. Since founding the business in the 1970’s, George Snr, his wife and children have grown the business to be one of Ireland’s leading construction machinery dealers, establishing a well-earned reputation for customer service excellence.
Complimenting George Snr’s Lifetime Achievement success, the business has also earned a GOLD Kubota Service Excellence Award in December.
