Thomas Fox Landscaping and Maintenance has added a pair of Kubota ZD1211 zero turns to its fleet, joining GR1600 II and G23 11 high lift collector mowers to tackle a substantial workload that includes maintenance for 40 parish councils, National Trust properties and business parks in the Midlands.
“We have enjoyed great reliability from our Kubota ride-ons, which are easy to use and represent great value,” explains managing director Thomas Fox. “We’ve found them to be ‘bullet proof’ on our demanding contract work, so when it came to purchasing new zero turns we were keen to try Kubota, and see how the ZD1211 compared to our existing brand.”
Supplied by Hunts Engineering Ltd of Shipston on Stour, the Kubota ZD1211 has already proved its worth.
“We’ve tried the larger commercial mowers, but zero turns are more flexible – there’s plenty of output on longer runs, but they work so well in tighter areas such as around playground equipment where you need a compact machine. It’s like having two mowers in one,” says Mr Fox.
