RTV900 / Catterick Race Course
Catterick race course is one of the few courses in the UK which has fixtures every month of the year.
Ed and his team of 6 full time staff are responsible for keeping both the flat and National Hunt courses in top racing condition. The RTV900 is a welcome edition to the course, enabling greater versatility than the previous tractor and trailer used.
Ed finds the Kubota far more fuel efficient than the tractor for smaller jobs on the course and much easier to get round on.The RTV900 is used for a multitude of tasks; from sanding and soiling the course, maintaining the jumps and moving other groundcare equipment around to keeping the course tidy.
Ed has a long relationship with local Kubota dealer Russell’s Ltd who he uses for equipment supplies and onsite servicing;
“I’ve always liked Kubota machines as they are reliabil and versatile and we’ve got a great relationship with Peter Stanley from our local dealer Russell’s Ltd.”
