Phill Brooks is Kubota’s agricultural and ground care dealer manager for the midlands, north west and Wales.
With 16 years’ experience with the company, Phill started out as a demonstrator and product trainer for the south of England, sharing his time between driving and demonstrating Kubota tractors, and sitting behind the wheel of an HGV.
“It was a fantastic opportunity to travel around the south of England with a lorry-load of kit, carrying out on-farm demonstrations with dealers and customers,” he recalls.
Coming from a dealership background with ground care equipment, he says the changes that have taken place across the farming sector in the last two decades, are enormous.
“I do like the challenge that comes with the responsibility of establishing a relatively unknown machinery brand to agriculture and its allied industries,” he says. “Every day is different, and the diversity is tremendous.”
A keen walker, Phill enjoys the outdoors. Though he is also an experienced motorcyclist, with an interest in mechanical engineering. Having recently acquired a modern classic Ducati to go with two other bikes, he can often be found fine-tuning his collection of iron horses.
