Michael Warden is Kubota’s agricultural and ground care dealer manager for Scotland and the north of England.
A farmer’s son from the Borders area, Michael has considerable industry experience having spent the last 20 years in engineering and customer support roles at both dealer and manufacturer level, with a number of high-profile brands.
“Agriculture is such a satisfying industry to work in,” says Michael. “There are some huge challenges too, but no two days are the same.”
“Since joining Kubota in early 2020, I’m now 100% sales-based, having previously enjoyed time in sales and service roles to support and optimise machinery,” he says. “And sales is one of those jobs that I wish I’d moved to much sooner. There’s a tremendous amount of enjoyment in developing business with customers, to see how our products can improve their efficiency.”
To help him unwind, Michael remains passionate about one of his favourite sports – rugby. And while not quite so heavily involved as he once was, he still enjoys following the game as time allows. He also has an active interest in several country pursuits.
