
Colin Frost is a dealer manager for the Construction division of Kubota UK. Having joined the business three years ago, Colin’s remit sees him look after Kubota’s construction dealer network across the North of England, Scotland and Ireland.
It’s a varied role, which sees Colin act as a crucial link between manufacturer and dealer. Colin says: “The main part of my role is being the first port of call for our dealer network. I work closely with our dealers to help develop solutions that work both for their business and support Kubota’s long-term strategy.
“One of the things I really enjoy about my role is the variety it brings. One day I might be sat at a desk, analyzing market information and identifying areas of opportunity, the next I can be driving to meet with our dealers in person. After two years of lockdown, it’s fantastic to be back out and about engaging with both our dealers and customers.”
Colin also works in close partnership with Kubota’s aftersales team, to help promote and strengthen the post-sales solutions available to the market.
When asked to sum up working at Kubota in three words, Colin says: “enjoyable”, “flexible” and “rewarding”. He adds: “Kubota really empowers you to work under your own initiative – I’m proud to work with a brand that has such an extensive legacy”.
