Kubota UK has further strengthened its European agricultural credentials with the signing of a new deal with Estonia-based Stokker Agri as its new distributor for the Baltic territories.

Since production began on Kubota’s flagship M7001 series tractor last year, the company has been committed to continue to grow the brand in the higher horsepower agricultural market, and this latest deal will ensure that they have a highly respected partner in place to penetrate the market.

Mecro Group (of which Stokker Agri are part) Chairman of the board, Priit Print commented on the announcement. “Stokker Agri is fast becoming a Pan-Baltic broadline distributor in the Baltic states and Kubota is an extremely important partner as part of the execution of our strategy.”

On December 10th 2015, Stokker Agri introduced its very first Kubota agricultural tractor to the market. As part of the new deal they will also sell Kubota’s complete groundcare product line from Paide, central Estonia, where one of Stokker Agri’s sales and service centres is situated.

Print continued: “Japanese origin tractors need no introduction – they are synonymous with high quality and reliability. Kubota continues to manufacture innovative tractors that meet the needs of the farmers in Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia. Kubota’s commercial tractors and groundcare product portfolio is also well known and valued in Europe and we are delighted to have Kubota as our partner.”

Stokker Agri CEO, Kristo Busch commented on the company’s intent: “Stokker Agri´s goal is to make Kubota a well known and valued brand in all three Baltic states over the next ten years. We know our customers and we have experience in building brand awareness and trust, so we are excited about our partnership together.”

Dave Roberts, Kubota UK Managing Director added: “We’re delighted to be partnering with such a well respected and well connected company as Stokker Agri. Growing the Kubota brand in this territory is key to achieving the growth we want to achieve as a company and we are looking forward to working closely together with Stokker Agri in 2016 as we continue to roll out our latest M7001 Series tractors.”
