Global leading engine manufacturer, Kubota, has presented a range of new engine solutions at this year’s successful Bauma Trade Fair.

Situated at Stand 249 in Hall 5, the Bauma exhibition served as the ideal platform to showcase Kubota’s new Diesel Power Pack options, specifically created to provide Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) additional solutions in preparation of the impending NRMM EU Stage V emissions regulations, which come in to force in 2019.

Kubota also showcased its range of alternative fuel engines, offering gasoline, natural gas, LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) and CNG (compressed natural gas) fuel type alternatives, all of which could be installed and considered as an potentially alternative solution to conventional diesel fuelled engine options. This is Kubota’s One Source Multiple Solution approach towards 2019 where new regulations will bring many challenges to the diesel engine industry as a whole, meaning end users and OEMs will start to evaluate alternative fuel types as part of their decision making process.

Daniel Grant, Business Development Manager for Kubota Engines UK, commented: “Bauma presented the perfect opportunity for Kubota’s Engine Division to prove why we are leading the way in preparation for the legislation changes coming in 2019, with our innovative and technologically advanced engines delivering a range of solutions for our OEM customers.

“As a manufacturer, we are committed to investing in technology advances to ensure equipment is powered by the most efficient and cost effective diesel and LSI engines that will exceed upcoming emission regulations, whilst also providing a host of viable multi-fuelled options. The alternative fuel solutions have the potential to deliver significant cost base benefits, due to the expected impact on exhaust gas after-treatment required for diesel after 2019 within the lower power categories’.

“With all these options, Kubota has ensured that we not only placing our OEM customers and Distribution partners in a strong position to deliver new product development programs as they gear up for 2019, but it also means they can do away with having to spend valuable time and resources sourcing additional third party accessories and components. This will reduce pressure on them and the risk of supply chain issues, which is something we’re very proud of.”
