Kubota, the global market leader in mini excavators, has announced a milestone deal with Travis Perkins, one of the UK’s largest suppliers of building materials and hire equipment, set to be supplied over the next four years.
The agreement represents a significant step forward for both companies, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership that will support Travis Perkins’ nationwide hire fleet with the latest in Kubota’s reliable and efficient mini excavators. The large-scale procurement includes the K008-5 and U17-3a from the range of Kubota’s market-leading machines, tailored to meet the diverse needs of construction professionals across the country.
As part of the partnership, the agreement also includes full service and maintenance support over the four-year period. This covers all genuine parts required for servicing, maintenance, and repairs, offering peace of mind and minimising downtime. The delivery and preparation of all machines will be coordinated by Kubota’s authorised dealer, Shellplant. In addition, Shellplant will be managing a dedicated Travis Perkins Kubota Helpline, ensuring that the customers receive a first-class experience.
