International women’s day 2025

In 2022 ROC participated in a project concerning the inclusion of women in male-dominated work environments.

Among the participating women was Valentina and she was chosen to work on the assembly line.

Since 2022 Valentina has been working with us, she likes her job and gets on well with her colleagues.

I began to work with Agri Alianta in 2008, the same year that the company started its collaboration with Kubota.

The challenges, the possibility to learn new skills, to meet new people, and to collaborate with a worldwide known company such as Kubota are some of the reasons that I choose this industry.

The team's collaboration and support helped me to move forward, and 17 years later, I'm still here, and that proves that my expectations were fulfilled.

I am honored to contribute to this initiative highlighting women's roles in our industry.

My decision to pursue a career in this field stems from my family's background in agriculture. Ever since I can remember, we have worked our land, and despite its male-dominated nature, I was drawn to the challenges and opportunities it presents.

Working in this industry means being part of a dynamic environment where I can continuously learn and grow. It allows me to collaborate with diverse teams to create impactful solutions. My journey has not always been easy, but it has always been both rewarding and empowering, reinforcing my belief that gender should never be a barrier in any way.

Your initiative is truly inspiring, and I am convinced it will encourage many others in the industry.

I have always been attracted to the automotive field. Coming from a rural area, I have been in contact with agriculture from a young age and with the importance of machinery in this sector. I quickly realized that modern technology is essential for the efficiency and sustainability of agriculture. Working in a predominantly male industry has brought both challenges and opportunities to prove that women can have a significant impact in this field as well. I am proud to be part of a team of strong and dedicated women who welcomed me warmly from the beginning and were patient with me. This industry gives me the chance to continuously learn and grow.

I joined the agri-industry in 1999, driven by my passion for helping people and making a real impact. Working in agriculture means contributing to feeding the world and supporting farmers in their daily challenges. It's more than just a job, it’s a mission to create a better life on Earth through innovation, dedication, and care for future generations.

I am honored and proud to be part of the Kubota mission.

Why I chose this job: I grew up living on a farm and have always enjoyed driving tractors and being part of the agricultural industry. it is a very social job, so agricultural sales is the perfect mix for me. I couldn't imagine not working in agriculture, it is a very rewarding job helping people out!

I was drawn to the role of a Parts Assistant because I enjoy working with machinery and understand how vital it is to keep equipment running smoothly. Agriculture is the backbone of many communities, and I wanted to be part of an industry that plays such a crucial role. This position allows me to use my organisational skills, attention to detail, and customer service abilities to help farmers and businesses get the parts they need quickly and efficiently. It’s great to break barriers in a male-dominated industry, proving that women can excel in technical and mechanical roles

What they do/ summary of role

Supporting the sales administration team with planning and scheduling, ensuring that all customer service operations are conducted to ensure the highest customer service is provided in terms of general dealings with the customer and the delivery performance. This is in order to contribute in a positive manner to the overall customer experience.

Why they chose this occupation

Katrina- I was drawn to the variety of the role and the opportunity to work with both customers and colleagues. It’s been a great experience learning something new and seeing the industry open and evolve.

Joni- Joining the Engines division at Kubota has given me the ability to work with my skills in a fast-paced environment while being part of a great team. It’s great to see more women in a variety of positions, and I’m proud to be part of that progress.

Why did I choose this occupation? - I chose this occupation because after finishing University, I wanted to get a full-time job. There was a job for a Service Administrator in the industry just down the road from where I lived. From that moment, I fell in love with the industry. I progressed into a Service Manager role, which I loved because there were no 2 days the same and I loved problem-solving and delivering good customer service. This led me into my current role working with a manufacturer, which has allowed me to use my previous Dealer experience.

Why did I choose this occupation: I chose my role within KUK, Thame as it is a role I thoroughly enjoy, the organising and booking of delegates for our training courses and very much talking to people.

Growing up surrounded by agriculture and young farmers, I developed a strong connection to the industry. So when a placement opportunity at Kubota arose, it felt like the perfect chance to expand my knowledge of machinery. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and after completing my university degree, returning to Kubota was the natural next step, and I’m absolutely loving it!

Why did I choose this occupation - I took a temp job many moons ago as a plant coordinator working on a utilities contract & found I had quite the aptitude for it…I’ve never looked back!

I chose to work as a Key Account Manager at Kubota because I am passionate about managing customer relationships, business development, and fostering long-term partnerships.

Driven by the opportunity to meet new customers and build meaningful connections that help both the company and its clients succeed.

My focus is on providing exceptional support and ensuring that customers have a positive experience with Kubota. By understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions, I can play a part in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty, contributing to Kubota's growth and success.

I was always passionate about electronics and mechatronics engineering and how science could put all the pieces together to make them practically functional for a purpose. About how Mathematics and physics can light up your day and make your life easier so you can spend that saved quality time with your family, friends, and yourself. In the past you have heard many such phrases: "ah, A girl won't not do this or this job is not suitable for a girl or it is dominated by men".

I wanted to follow my passion and make a difference, even if it was small, to demonstrate that nothing is dedicated to any gender. Women can bring a different perspective even to male-dominated activities or environments. I fell in love with the agriculture domain from the beginning of my career and tried to apply all I have learned in my studies in testing and validation of Agriculture machines for having a better-quality product.

We can succeed in making anything with Passion, love, and effort: It can be a cake or a Kubota Tractor:)

I chose this job because it means carrying on the family legacy and maintaining the commitment we have had for years to the agricultural sector. Agriculture is a fundamental pillar in our country, and that is why we work every day to support farmers with efficient solutions. Taking on this responsibility motivates me to continue innovating and offering a high-quality service, ensuring that the countryside continues to move forward with the best tools and the necessary support.

In my family, agriculture has always been in the hands of women. In the past, with the dedication and hard work done by my great-grandmother and grandmother, and in the present, with the work and innovation of the new agriculture that I try to put in place every day, and for which we fight, a future where more generations of women continue to be part of it and evolve. Just as in our own family we have a great generational history, so does in agriculture, despite the great agricultural revolutions over the years, the goal remains the same, and that is what makes agriculture continue to be a great engine, a driving force to fight for, to grow, to work for and to defend every day. To be able to continue defending the ‘battle’ of agriculture, as my family defines it, every day is a matter of pride, but above all to be able to follow in the footsteps of my grandmother, a great woman and farmer who taught me so much, and especially the importance of continuing to pass on to generations how beautiful agriculture can be.

Since I was a child, the countryside has been a fundamental part of my life. I grew up surrounded by agriculture, learning how much effort and dedication this sector requires first-hand hand thanks to my family's closeness to the sector. This connection with the rural world led me to study agricultural engineering in Madrid, with the intention of continuing to be linked to a field that I have always been passionate about. My professional career began as an intern at Kubota Spain, where I discovered the fascinating world of agricultural machinery. Although I never imagined that I would end up working in sales, today I enjoy my job enormously. It allows me to combine my knowledge with direct contact with farmers and professionals in the industry, helping them to find the best solutions for their daily work

I work as a Planner in the Purchasing Department in KFM, based in Bierne, north of France. I joined KFM in September 2019. My main role is to ensure smooth production by making sure that orders are received on time. What I love most about my role is the dynamic environment and the strong sense of teamwork. The mutual support within our team makes daily challenges easier to handle.

What motivates me is the diversity of tasks and the need to coordinate multiple actions to keep production running smoothly—even when unexpected situations arise. It’s a job that requires adaptability, and that’s what makes it exciting.

At KFM, we take pride not only in the quality of the products we manufacture but also in the human values that shape our way of working. Our unique blend of Japanese and French influences fosters a culture of collaboration and respect, strengthening our expertise. Being part of this journey alongside my colleagues is both inspiring and rewarding.

I have been working in this sector for 25 years and have been using a forklift for 18 years, I love driving it! I am a very dynamic and organised person, I find great satisfaction in preparing and shipping packages for our customers and in keeping the warehouse material neat.

I have been employed as an assembly worker for 31 years. I like using my hands and seeing the tangible results of my work, it is very satisfying and I am good at my job. I have developed solid skills and I learn new processes quickly, I put dedication and commitment into what I do.

I have been working in production for 17 years and with excellent manual skills I have worked in different departments and learned different line phases. I love my job because it is dynamic and because it allows me to give men a hard time: us women are more precise and patient and these qualities are also important in production work!

I chose this job because I like working with people, which allows me to collaborate with different professional figures and motivate the team towards common goals. In addition, production can present unexpected challenges: I find it stimulating to face and solve problems in real time. Also, seeing the final result of your work and knowing that you have contributed to making it happen is extremely gratifying.

Why they choose this occupation: I grew up in my parents' agricultural machinery business and had the opportunity to get a taste of the industry at an early age. It was therefore clear to me that, after gaining some external work experience, I wanted to join the family business to deepen my knowledge of the industry.

Why did I choose this job? Quite simply, because I love it! As a proud farmer, I run our hop and cash crop farm with my family. It was always clear to me that I would join my parents' farm. Farming is not just a job; it's a passion. The varied work outside, in harmony with nature, fulfills me every day anew.
